The first episode will be introducing the fourteen new culinary-challenged recruits with Bobby Flay and Anne Burrell welcoming them with grocery bags with food found at each of the contestant's homes. And the first task for the challenged will be to cook their best dish out of the packaged and canned food they can cook. In the first episode's first team challenge Anne's team is trying to cook Seared Pork Chop with Bacon and Grape Port Wine Sauce and Bobby's team is about to try Beef Tenderloin in Mushroom, Mustard and Red Wine Sauce. How successful they will all be remains to be seen, but the worst from both teams will be eliminated and twelve remaining recruits will get to stay for the next challenges.
The series is seven episodes long and the fourth season finale is set to air on Sunday, March 31st at 9pm ET/PT where the two remaining contestants will be given a task to cook a three-course meal for the series judges, namely Andrew Carmellini, Anita Lo and Floyd Cardoz.
