Reality TV brings us some awful names. To begin, let's discuss spellings of Mackenzie. In my opinion, there are two acceptable spellings: Mackenzie and McKenzie. Not MaKenzie (Toddlers & Tiaras), Mckenzie (Toddlers & Tiaras) or Mackynzie (19 Kids and Counting). I'm sorry, but in certain dialects, the 'eh' and 'ih' sounds are not the same, so Mackynzie does not equal Mackenzie.
We've also seen other strange names like Jermika (Tool Academy - not a fan of names with the word "germ" in them), Chasyn (Tool Academy - I feel like one of the other guys was 'chasin' him off of the show by beating him at wrestling), Makynli (Toddlers & Tiaras), BreAnne & AshLynn (Toddlers & Tiaras - not so bad except for the capitals), Aleeah & Aliannah (16 and Pregnant - twins) and Leah Leanne (16 and Pregnant - not bad except both names are practically the same).
On the other side of this, I did like two names that I saw on reality TV: Avianna (forgot where that was from) and Jennavecia (Tool Academy). I could never use Jennavecia because of the associations, but it is a great name!
